ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVE SRINAGAR
On Arrival in Srinagar, our representative will meet and greet you at the airport. Transfer to the deluxe houseboat in Srinagar. Evening free to relax and enjoy scenic view of the mountain ranges near Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be in deluxe houseboat.
DAY 2: SRINAGAR SIGHTSEEING
After Morning breakfast, Proceed for a boat ride via Shikara on the Dal Lake. Enroute, explore Waterways, back waters, canals, floating garden, vegetable market, Water lilies, Lotus flowers, easily accessible mobile venders and handicrafts center. Return back to the deluxe hotel for lunch. Later on visit Mughal garden, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat garden, Shalimar Bagh. Next visit Shankaracharya temple located on a hillock on Zabarwan Mountain. Enjoy panoramic views of the Srinagar city from here. Also visit handloom center famous for production of Pashmina/ Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned carpets. Return back to deluxe hotel for lunch. In Evening, visit the famous Mughal gardens, evening return back to deluxe hotel for dinner. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 3: EXCURSION TO SONMARG
After breakfast at the houseboat/hotel, leave for a day excursion to Sonmarg, which is a beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, you will stop at many beautiful spots. Continue driving to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs known as Meadow of Gold. One can enjoy horse riding to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Sonamarg is also known as Gateway to Ladakh. In the evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 4: SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise,’ Pahalgam which is 2133 meters is one of the most popular tourist places in Kashmir and the top preference for Indian Film Industry. En route, visit Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins a 1100 year old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma, the beauty of the countryside and lots of rice fields. Reach Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel. After the lunch, take a walk around and click pictures of the magnificent views of mountains. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 5: PAHALGAM
Morning after breakfast, visit the scenic and rocky valley of Chandanwadi, Snow Point which is around 14 km from Pahalgam and also enjoy an exciting pony ride at your own cost. Enjoy the day with leisure and return to your hotel in the evening. Enjoy the surroundings of Pahalgam on foot. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
DAY 6: PAHALGAM – GULMARG
After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our countryside tour towards Gulmarg. We will drive past colorful villages and rice fields that will give you an insight into the rich culture of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the top hill stations in India and is majorly known to have world’s highest golf course. It’s major attraction is Gulmarg Gondola, which is Asia’s largest cable car project. The beautiful destination in Kashmir is also quite popular for skiing and snowboarding in the winter season. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel.
DAY 7: GULMARG
The day is available for leisure activities such as golf, nature walks, bird watching, and pony rides. You can visit the Maharani Temple and Ziarat of Baba Reshi or try zorbing at the Children’s Park. You can even visit the highest golf course in the world. But the most popular thing to include in the tour package in Kashmir is the Gondola Cable Car Ride. The 08 minutes of ropeway ride on Gulmarg Gondola will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here, you can click lots of pictures. After spending time here, we will descend to Gulmarg base after an hour. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 8: GULMARG – SRINIGAR
After the buffet breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar. On arrival transfer to the houseboat. After check-in at the houseboat, you can relax for a while. Later in the evening proceed for a Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Overnight stay at the houseboat.
DAY 9: DEPARTURE
Post breakfast in the morning at houseboat check-out and straight transfer to Srinagar airport or railway station for your onwards journey back home.
