ITINERARY
DAY 1: COCHIN/ ERANAKULAM ARRIVAL
Munnar Welcome to God’s own country, up on arrival meet our Representative/ Driver and drive to Munnar. Munnar is one of the popular honeymoon. Destination of India. Located at 1600m above sea level. Munnar considering as the Switzerland of Kerala. On the way visits Cheyyappara Water Falls. Check in to Hotel by evening. Overnight stay at Munnar hotel.
DAY 2: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
After Breakfast proceed to visit Eravikulam National Park which is a 30 minutes’ drive away from Munnar Town. Afternoon visit Eco point, Maattupetty dam, Kundala Lake, Echo point and Tea museum, later in the evening return back to hotel and overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 3: MUNNAR – THEKKADY
After Breakfast, check out and transfer to Thekkady. Thekkady is India’s one of the famous natural wildlife reserves – the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Check in at hotel. Afternoon go for a boat ride inside Periyar Tiger Reserve. Here we can see the wild animal’s closely. Watch the wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar, and Deer etc are roaming both side of dam. Later visit Spice plantation or visit spice market at Kumily Town. You can also do optional witness of Kathakali/ Kalarippayattu show in the Evening. Return back to the hotel by noon. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
DAY 4: THEKKADY – ALLEPPEY
Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey. By noon check in at the house boat in Alleppey, Houseboats are reworked version of Kettuvallams of olden times. The original Kettuvallams or rice barges used to carry tons of rice and spices. Now it is converted to luxury stay format with furnished bedrooms, modern toilets, cozy living rooms, a kitchen and even a balcony for angling. A traveler especially a Honeymoon couples must experience Backwater houseboats – this make you trip memory more delightful. Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay in Houseboat.
DAY 5: ALLEPPEY – COCHIN
Morning after breakfast checkout from houseboat and drive to Cochin. Up on arrival check in at hotel and afternoon go for sightseeing of Cochin. Visit places like Fort Cochin, Chinese fishing nets, St: Francis church, Jew Street, Jew synagogue etc. Evening come back to hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 6: COCHIN DEPARTURE
After the breakfast checkout and drive to Cochin international airport/ Eranakulam railway station for your onward journey to home with sweet memories of Kerala.
